Summary/Abstract: This article concerns the fashionable and institutionally-driven ideology called multiculturalism (ang. multi-culti). This view proclaims that all historical cultures are equal in terms of quality or culture-power. Multi-culti ideology promotes the vision of universal culture, supposedly free from all particularism and therefore tolerant to local differences. The recipe for the realization of this vision is the openness to cultural differences. The author notes that the source of the ideology of multiculturalism inherent in irrationalism, which recently took the form of postmodernism. The author shows that cultures are not equal, and that the real and objective criterion for the evaluation of cultures is human life - the good of the real and concrete human being, which is also the common good of human culture.
