Summary/Abstract: Among up to now unnoticed literary authors of Těšín (Cieszyn) Silesia we can point out two writers living at the turn of 17th and 18th centuries – Jan Karel Skop and Jiří Karel Skop, who descended from the Tluk family of Tošenovice. The presented study tries to depict their literary work and to outline the issues referring to the biografical links between both the authors.
