Summary/Abstract: The article is the issue of attitudes of Polish and foreign students and postgraduate students, junior staff teaching and research to academics at the age of 65 plus. The article is composed of a theoretical part, in which the authors analyze the issues of attitudes and stereotypes towards mature citizens and empirical part, to discuss the results of research carried out together in a group of 416 participants. The obtained results of the research indicate the diverse perception of knowledge workers − teachers aged 65 plus by the representatives of the younger generation of students, postgraduate students and teachers and more experienced faculty members. The data obtained generally do not authorize to establish the existence of negative stereotypes of students, postgraduate students, younger and more mature academic teachers in the perception of lecturers of 65 plus, and at the same time indicate the differences in the perception of the attributes of teaching staff by their younger and older colleagues.
