Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to describe the content of the transparency principle in administrative procedure according to the Act No. 71/1967 Coll. The principle of transparency is provided for by the act as a fundamental procedure principle and as the content of fundamental procedural rights of the persons affected by the administrative procedure, too. The administrative authority is obliged to protect the rights of the persons according to the Article 3 Par. 6 of the Administrative Procedure Act as well as their rights according to the special acts.
