Summary/Abstract: County Sharia Court in Tuzla, within the District Court in Tuzla, has been functioning since 1929. until 1941. Generally, the work of sharia courts in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes /Kingdom of Yugoslavia was not studied in detail, from the archival and historiographical side. The work of the District Sharia Court and courts in general, is best explained by the court documents, which in the case law was designated with the letter R. Such a rich source of information about the activities of these institutions are represented here in Diari and Business annual report to the District Sharia Court in Tuzla for 1938. These are documents that were delivered to the Supreme Sharia Court in Sarajevo, as the competent judicial instances and, as such, represent a source of detailed knowledge of the overall activity of this Court induring one calendar year.
