Summary/Abstract: Many young people of Voivodina started college or university studies in Hungary in the last twenty years. After the period of the war situation has not gone into the background of the phenomenon of studying abroad. Student migration is a relatively new phenomenon in the border region. The most attractive campuses are Szeged, Budapest and Pécs, while the largest sending settlements are Subotica, Kanjiza and Senta. The opportunities of learning in the mother tongue have a very large impact on the professional choice of Hungarians in Voivodina, following this for financial reasons (scholarships, education fees, travel costs, distance, etc). The role of Hungary and the Hungarian tertiary education has large impact on the quality of education (scholarship policy, labour market patterns, EU certificate).
