Summary/Abstract: In the Menaion where the festivals are fixed to a certain date, are included also movable days. These are the Saturdays and Sundays before and after Holy Cross Day on September 14, Christmas on December 25, Epiphany on January 6, St. Paul the Confessor on November 6 and the Holy Fathers of the 4th Ecumenical Council on July 16. Every year their position with respect to the other days of the month moves, but their position is kept before and after the holiday with which they are associated. In the article are defined their function in the structure of the Menaion, their number, place, name and the Gospel readings in the Slavonic Gospel manuscripts from the 10th to the 14th с.
