THE CONCEPT OF RELIGION IN THE DOCUMENT OF ITC THE SEARCH FOR UNIVERSAL ETHICS

Summary/Abstract: The author critically reflects on the first part of the ITC document (2008) from the point of view of religious studies. He asserts that the document uses typically Euro-American terminology and that the concept of religion applied in this text is also problematic. The text will be difficult to understand for a reader living outside the Christian cultural area.
