Summary/Abstract: ISO standards are based on the principle of procedural approach. This involves identifying key processes and their description through the procedures. Thus, it can more easily monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of these processes. Therefore, the application of ISO 15189 and ISO 15190 standards is not only a legal requirement but a condition for the proper functioning of the Romanian health system.
