The Role of the Entrepreneurial Culture in a Knowledge-Based Society

Summary/Abstract: Due to the economical and political context, we are living an entreprenorial period that needs to be supported by educational institutions, governamental entities, corporation and by the civil society. As member of European Union, Romania has to be in line with international standards, on every plan and especially from the perspective of an informational society development, based on knowledge. The European and Romanian instances are working together to ensure the specific regulations for the new society type. The development level of the society is determined by the evolution of science, education and culture, so that the relation between research and education to be ever stronger. In this symbiosis the entreprenorial culture role is defining, being not only an increase method of the national income or a source for new jobs, but also a connection between innovation and market.
