Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article was to show advisory work undertaken to support the farmers in raising funds for selected measures of Axis 1 of the PROW – „Improving the competitiveness of the agricultural and forestry sector” for example Kuyavian-Pomeranian Agricultural Advisory Centre (KPODR). The sources of information were KPODR documents for the years 2011–2013. The analysis showed a wide variety of taken measures by KPODR to support farmers in raising funds from the EU funds. They were carried out through: information activities, advice, training, courses and confer-ences, preparation of proposals, plans, organization of exhibitions and competitions, conducting the surveys. The study confirmed a significant role of KPODR in the region to raise funds from the EU.
