Summary/Abstract: The new issue of Bulletine brings empirical findings from the topic of employment, employability and barriers in access to labour market of particular disadvantaged groups of job-seekers. It is based on empirical survey carried out at the Institute for Labour and Family Research in 2008. The survey was provided at 46 local labour offices in Slovak Republic. It was focused on the analysis of specifics of economically active population groups and on analysis of causes of inequalities in access to labour market. Current issue is divided into 4 main chapters. The first chapter is general and focused on detailed identification of the whole survey sample. Following chapters bring comparative findings about particular disadvantaged groups which were created on different criteria, such as the length of registration at the labour office, education and labour market status before entering the labour office.
