Computer support of accounting management – a case of implementation in executive agency WAM

Summary/Abstract: WAM as an executive agency is obliged to implement management control in the manner specified by law on public finances. It was decided to extend the system of software to support planning and budgeting in the agency. Successful implementation of such a system in the public sector unit is a proof that the idea of new public management long ago went beyond the theory and became real. The purpose of this article is to present how the executive agency may support the use of instruments of accounting management with properly selected IT tools.
