Determinants and directions of the development of the Polish local seaports and sea harbours from the perspective of state

Summary/Abstract: The article presents determinants and directions of the development of the seaports which are of no primary importance to the Polish economy or sea harbours. The above mentioned structures are primarily local or regional and as such are important to stimulating the development of the immediate environment. However, it is worth presenting how the directions of their development are portrayed in the most important documentation prepared at the central level. This documentation is a framework for financing investments in the port infrastructure and access to the ports from the land and sea made with the EU financial support.
