Analysis of changes in commodity production in agriculture betwccn 2003 and 2010.

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the trend of changes in the level of agricultural production that occurred between 2002 and 2010. The phenomenon analyzed against the background of die number of farms that play business functions. In the years 2002-2010 in the whole country there was an overall increase in the value of commodity production, which generally amounted to 86.7%, with a slightly higher increase in crop production (112.8%), in relation to animal production (70.3%). The provincial system has changed the structure of commercial agricultural production by reducing participation in the formation of agricultural production from 46.7% to 37.7%, with an increase in animal production from 53.3% to 62.3% (up 9.0 percentage points ). Yields of major crops and livestock density showed no correlation with the value of buying per 1 ha of agricultural land. During the years 2002-2010 the number of farms producing mainly for the market decreased from 43.3% in 2002 to 37.7% in 2010. Specialized farms and larger-area farms play major role in agricultural market.
