Summary/Abstract: The present endeavor is based upon three guiding aspects, able to offer a measure of that tensional perpetuity which gathers, both in form and in fundament, between the concepts of political and politics, and still gives political philosophy the absolute sense of a “yet”.The first stage revalues the relationship between the new and the old, through attachment operations or different situations simulating either oppositions or particular differences; the second reviews and clearly states the particular context of use for terms such as politics and political; the third considers that political philosophy extracts its modal rationality, signifying “more than that”, from a preservation of philosophy seen as a renewing or innovatory old tide, while being at the same time maintained inside a cooperation – priority position.Political philosophy either demands to be reloaded as a new project and asks to be maintained by Derridian signals of the end as well as of the beginning (through fragmentation and delocalization) – or it still desires a Kimlickian consolation, resorting to a series of disconnected “discrete arguments”, each of which accepts its own (still) particular logic mechanisms, unrelated to all the rest.
