Summary/Abstract: New trends in the international governance system in the 21st century have revealed a clear tendency to assert increasingly a new level of governance and political interaction, defined as regional level of governance associated with the concept of region. Based on these considerations this article analyzes the influence of maritime security on security phenomena and processes in the Black Sea region given the complexity of this region, the interests of major global and regional actors and the types of conflict that characterize the region.
