A regional airport as a chance for tourism development in Warmia and Masuria

Summary/Abstract: A region's potential to attract bom tourists and investments to a great extent depends on its accessibility and its transport infrastructure. Warmia and Masuria is a veryattractive tourist destination. A new regional airport is supposed to stimulate further development of the region, facilitating greater and easier access for tourists bom from Po-land and abroad, and thus contributing to the further development of the tourism industry in the region. For this purpose a regional operator has been appointed to market thetourism product 'To Masuria by Plane" and render its services to both tourists and localhotels.
