Summary/Abstract: In the context of the development of society, it must be noted that a historical study clarifying the meaning of nationalism, identifying the theories based on ideologies that marked the end of the 19th-century and early 20th century, as well as ideas on national superiority in Central Europe, are essential for the understanding of the phenomena that happen also today.
