Summary/Abstract: Given that sport is an ideal educational and instructional medium for the development of desirable psychological and social attributes, there arose a need for researches with the aim of determining the views of students about the impact of sport on health, quality of life and school obligations, and the importance that parents attach to sports activities. The research involved 93 students of the seventh and the eighth grades: out of which 40 boys and 53 girls. The results show that students understand the importance of physical activity, especially in terms of preservation and enhancement of human psychological and physical health. We can also conclude that sport has a positive effect on the experience of the quality of life of young people. It is important to say that a large number of the students stated that their parents are the main motive for their engagement in sports, and also that parents understand the importance of sport. Significant is also the view of a number of students who consider sports as an additional obligation, which makes sport lose its primary function. Such attitude results from an ever increasing workload of students in the form of various activities and academic contents. But with a good organization, which is one of the skills developed by engaging in the sports, it is possible to overcome the lack of time.
