Summary/Abstract: The great need for new means and approaches in determining the accents of the literary life during the Middle Ages and in the relative studies of the natural interrelationship in literary phenomena in the Byzantine-Slavic community, called forth the idea of creating a Computer supported Repertorium of the Medieval Slavic Literature. Such a project emerged in Bulgaria a few years ago, when a certain question gained actuality: the question concerning the analytical description of the Bulgarian cultural heritage and in particular the Medieval manuscript book in a universal electronic form, which would make it accessible to modern information systems.
