Measurement of the entrepreneurial spirit and determination of the factors that boost it in a Mexican University located in the Laja-Bajio Region

Summary/Abstract: The research had two objectives: measuring entrepreneurship and determine the factors that drive or limit a group of University students from the region Laja-bajio of Mexico, taking as a reference framework research on entrepreneurship, models of entrepreneurship and the role of universities in the training of entrepreneurs. We used quantitative and qualitative approaches in order to compare the results. One of the most important findings was the emergence of a construct called vocation of entrepreneurial spirit, where the teacher plays a crucial role in its development.
