Summary/Abstract: The paper explores the form корѧте gen. sg. which can be seen on f. 7v in Vat.-gr. 2502 – the famous palimpsest of the Vatican. The existence of such a form seems plausible especially when connected with корѧ nom.sg. that is well known in the Old Russian manuscripts, copied from the relevant Old Bulgarian books. This means that the type of nt-stems could include not only nouns whose meaning is ‘names of little animals’ what is usually thought but also just diminutives produced freely from any other noun.
