Summary/Abstract: Cultural actions were plenty in numbers and of good quality during the 1867-1918 period. They were organized by Gatherings and Associations of tens maybe sometimes hundreds of people with cultural concerns. From the middle of the XIXth century they will imprint a mass character to the cultural act, through the orientation or allurement to large social categories. The will have a special significance in pinpointing the cultural movement of Timisoara and the continuity of a distinct cultural profile. The living proof is inserted in the Order of organization of different Reunions and Associations (Romanian, german, Hungarian, etc.) housed by the National archive of county department – Timisoara.
