Summary/Abstract: The scientific research of the Romanian Orthodox Church’s history of Banat in the hungarian or serbian territories is, undoubtedly, deficient. Taking these premises as a starting point, we undertook, in 2015, a research in The Archive of The Romanian Orthodox Archiepiscopacy. In the approximately 500 studied documents, the name of Simion Cornea appeared in an overwhelming proportion of the letters we have managed to select.
