Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the Vădastra fauna from four features (C6, C9/14, C17, C22) at Măgura ‘Buduiasca’ (Teleorman County). 793 animal bones were analyzed, most of them mammals (96.5%). Archaeozoological study reveals that animal husbandry plays an important role in this Neolithic community. Cattle (68.3%), sheep and goats (15.3%), and pigs (3.3%) are the represented species. Hunting is poorly represented in terms of the number of bones (12.3%), but well represented by number of taxa (8). Hunting plays a secondary role to supplement the diet of this community
