Summary/Abstract: The text is an attempt to answer the question why in the seventies of the twentieth century in Polish literature, many authors referred to the everyday language, sometimes even suggesting that their artistic works are integrally or partially record of complete spoken utterances or entire stories of so-called “ordinary people”. What questions did that reality put, since the answer was everyday spoken language, and the daily utterances have escalated to the level of literature? The combination of the three distinct, but different in meaning (Miron Białoszewski, Janusz Anderman, Ryszard Schubert) the uses of the technique of “rewriting”of literature and saving “living speech” shows the range of possibilities and meanings posed by this technique and at the same time it brings out its existential and cultural meanings.
