Analysis of the Case System of the Substantives in the Middle Bulgarian Translation of the Chronicle of Manasses

Summary/Abstract: The Middle Bulgarian translation of the Chronicle of Manasses offers us abundant material for linguistic study. The aim of the article is to analyse the case system of the substantives, reflected in the Chronicle of Manasses and to study the state of the Middle Bulgarian language in which coexisted the Old Bulgarian language norm and the case endings newly formed by the natural development of the language.
