Summary/Abstract: In our paper, we develop an interdisciplinary research about aesthetics of colors, sounds and forms in the artistic work of Wassily Kandinsky, Erik Satie and Constantin Brancusi. From a comparative point of view, Satie sought stillness in music, Brancusi sought movement in stone block and Kandinsky sought sensitivity in colors. These similarities lead us to believe that there are artistic contingencies twinned symbolic and enigmatic which have shaped the history of art in the nineteenth century.
