Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to examine the need for religious tourism marketing. In the first part we showed that the religious marketing has some several features, including: customer orientation is surpassed by orientation mission; "The purpose of religious organizations is to serve the interests of a spiritual nature of individuals, but also society as a whole, as opposed to economic organizations whose purpose is to maximize profits and customer satisfaction." In the second part of the paper we have shown the importance of marketing in religious activity: economic, social, spiritual, psychological.
