Clusters of poverty in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The main objective of this paper is to study spatial autocorrelation of poverty in Poland using the synthetic measure. The analysis will be conducted on the level of subregions. Spatial analysis of the data has allowed to evaluate the overall similarity of subregions in Poland in the field of poverty. There were separated groups of similar subregions and subregions differing from neighboring subregions. There were used global and local Moran statistics and traditional method without using information regarding localization of the synthetic measure.
