Summary/Abstract: The law is designed to simplify and standardize certain social relations and rules of conduct. The exceptional situation in the economy, which led to the liquidation of the largest number of companies, and led to more flexible application and interpretation of the legal standards which are governing the protection and reception of archival material. Moving within the framework of these legal norms, archives undertake road and the role of missionaries in the field of protection of archival material. Theory and practice in these cases do not match completely, but, most importantly, do not go contrary to one another. The very purpose of protection, without bouncing from the legal framework is being filled.
