Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the orthographic and linguistic features of the Tetraevangelion of Athens. The National Greek Library, Athens, COD.ATH 1796. The results are based on the processing of fifty of the total of 209 parchment pages. The conclusion is that manuscript is of Eastern Bulgarian origin and that it most probably dates from the first half of the I4th century.
