Summary/Abstract: The extension by the company markets outside the domestic market is the starting point for its internationalization. Therefore necessary to develop and use new strategies to adjust the offer of products / services to the consumer target. Diverse motives of activity internationalized enterprise, reflected in the adopted and implemented strategy of internationalization,meet its various forms. Search and selection of the appropriate instrument to enter foreign markets include themost important elements of decision-making enterprise internacjonalizującego its activities.The aim of this article is to illustrate the international activity of Polish companies, an indication of the extent of internationalization, implemented by the Polish company strategic options, themes and trends of internationalization, as well asanalysis of export, as the most used by Polish companies practice a form of internationalization.
