Summary/Abstract: The most important components of the quality of scientific publicationsare correct applications of statistical methods for the analysis of the phenomena and its completeness. Underestimation of this fact causes incomplete or incorrect descriptionsand proves the research as superficial or insufficiently reliable.The minimum of necessary statistical information should bepresent in the publication. It allows the reader to make somecomparisons. The use of certain rules of presentation of scientificand clinical information, regular open discussion andexpertise of scientific publications serve as tools of self-initiationin the methodology of biomedical research. Visual elementshelp authors present detailed results and complex relationships,patterns and trends clearly and concisely, reducing thelength of the manuscript and enhancing readers’ understandingof the study results. The purpose of this paper is to highlight practical recommendations and to summarize relevantpoints of study analysis and reporting by using objective statisticalprocessing for presenting data in scientific publications.
