Summary/Abstract: The article examines the earliest extant Slavonic copy of the Book of the Prophet Ezekiel in the manuscript F. I. 461 of the Russian National Library in Saint-Petersburg. The main attention is focused on the Slavonic language means of transferring specific Greek constructions and on the choice of lexical variants. The comparison of this text with translations of biblical books, mainly of the prophets and of the New Testament, indicate a close connection of the examined version with those liturgical and nonliturgical texts translated or revised in Preslav.
