Summary/Abstract: In this paper we will try to define and explain the various procedures of intertextual connectivity in classical Sufi poetry in Arabic language and answer the question of keeping and storing Oriental-Islamic tradition in the works of Bosniak poets who wrote in oriental languages. We have devoted special attention to transformation of the motives of old Arab qasidah and thus, among other things, pointed out the mnemonic character of poetry – how and in what way this poetry «remembers» and reshape some of the dominant structures of the Arab qasidah. From this point of speaking, classical Sufi poetry could represent cultural memory repository of Arabic poetry, and one of the final stages of the transformation of the motives of the old Arab poems. Also, one of the objectives of the work is situating and valorization of Bosnian literature in Oriental languages in the corpus of Oriental-Islamic literature and culture as great intertextual and interliterary community.
