Summary/Abstract: The Medieval settlement from Şibot Câmpul Pâinii was investigated in 2012, as part of a rescue excavation for the A1 Motorway (Orăştie – Sebeş segment). The area is very rich in archaeological sites. The presence of a medieval settlement dating from the 15th century and destroyed during the battle from 13th of October 1479 was confirmed in this area. The paper presents the analysis of a large number of some lesser known archaeological features, namely the 21 wells excavated at the site. The data presented in this paper completes the general image of the site and of the everyday life during the Middle Ages.
