Summary/Abstract: The study of the esthetic features in folkloric types aims to highlight the features of folkloric units to have a deeper understanding on our intangible heritage and not only the thematic and the opinion as it was generally done. It was aimed to analyze the semantic layers of the works and their existence as a specific art, focusing to the artistic tools which help to create emotional situations, the required area to convey the artistic thought and to raise emotions and a certain mood. In this article, it was achieved an esthetic evaluation of a motive touched in many folkloric units, the marriages with age difference and only those variants that have choosen the comic view as an attitude towards this occurrence. The analyze serves to bring to the attention the fact that beyond the simplicity of the oral composition it was hidden a multidimensional art, artistic mastership, used as the regulator of the social life, the relations between the individuals and generations. Among the artistic values based in the creation of comical situations, in relation to the treatment manner of the vital basic contradictions that have driven variants, we underline that life has suggested the emerge of this folkloric unit. Its wide spread concems life contradictions in front of which the society expresses weakness and sometimes inability to prevent. Thus, the underlining of the contrast, disharmony between the opposites makes possible the creation of comic situations. The comic appears when the real reason of an action or thought is hidden with an innocent form as in the case represented in this study. This song emphasizes the inability and impossibility to gain the antihistoric thought. The applicants’ feedback is a catharsis, a manner of purification aiming to disarray the society from the defects.
