SUBJECTIVE SUBORDINATE CLAUSE ACCORDING TO FLOQI

Summary/Abstract: In this paper there are some assessments made regarding the study of Prof. Floqi on the subordinate subjective clause. This study of him was published in two editions of the journal “Studime lllologjikc*" (1965). I lis work, which is considered by the author, as the first of this level, is also the most completed one about the syntactical structure of the sentence. It is divided in 7 chapters which deal mostly with the construction of this sentencc: semantic-structural features of main sentence; the structure of the subordinate subjective clause in completive sentences as affirmative. questions and exclamation sentences; scntences with subjective subordinate clauses vvith correlative pronouns and non-correlative pronouns, and the last, thc modes of verbs in subjective subordinate clauses and the word order in the sentcnce. It is to be noticed that although there is not a full syntactical work, in the form of a monograph or a grammar by this notable linguist, his works. where we can also include the subjective subordinate clauscs, has had an important impact and also remain significant for Albanian linguistics, especially in the researches on the construction of differcnt scntences in Albanian.
