Summary/Abstract: The list of great individuals fallen for the nation does not only include those who fought with arms, but also those who fought by pen to defend the rights of the Albanian people and fell on the fields of honor. They have written with their blood brilliant pages of national history. A place of honor, among them, also given to Shtjefën Konstantin Gjeçov. The Albanian people highly esteemed the work of Shtjefën Gjeçov. A striking testimony of this appreciation is the number of publications of an obituary character at his anniversary. The Party of Labor of Albania and the people's power raised to its pedestal the work and the heroism of Gjeçov. The People's Assembly decorated Gjeçov with the Medal for Remembrance and the Tirana CP Executive Committee perpetuated his memory by baptizing one of the streets of the capital named Konstantin Shtjefën Gjeçov.
