Summary/Abstract: Do we have free will or not? In fact, what is the free will? Can we lost it or don’tuse it (properly)? Who can confers us the responsibility and what is that ultimately? The present text endeavours to give persuasive answers to these questions. On the one hand, it begins with the Protestant theologian Emil Brunner’s thought, to whom it makes a critical Orthodox research, and on the other hand, it analyses narrowly the riches of patristic thoughts and Orthodox theology, that astonished quite distinguished nuances concerning responsibility and free will. Unfortunately, these nuances aren’t well known nowadays even in the majority of the Orthodox countries.
