Summary/Abstract: The article reflects the participation of the national intelligentsia in social and political life of Egypt in the years of World War I. Noted is the participation of intelligentsia in mobilization of various social groups and classes of the Egyptian society to perform against the English protectorate over Egypt which was followed by the organization of new political parties.
