Summary/Abstract: Macmillan says that a strong relationship exists between age and risk of violent victimization. Ward and Marsh point out that sexual violence does not necessarily end with the cessation of armed conflict. Sarkar evaluates and elucidates the impact of intimate partner violence (IPV) on women’s reproductive health and pregnancy outcomes. According to Bensley, there is growing evidence for associations between generations in family violence and between family violence in both childhood and adulthood and women’s health. McKay discusses the gender-specific effects of armed conflict on girls and women that are addressed by the Machel Study. Robinson examines the experiences of women who have been in situations of family violence.
