About Original Context

Summary/Abstract: The main aim of the article is an analysis of the original context category. The author makes an attempt to present the source of popularity of this term in the theory of literature and connected with it problems. In the article the views of Eric Hirsch and Umberto Eco are primarily discussed; these two researchers tried to separate the correct interpretations from the incorrect ones using the original context category.
