Summary/Abstract: This paper explains what the archives and archival materials, provides an overview of the origin and development of archives, contemporary archival theory and thinking about the future author archives. Neolithic Revolution led to private property and archives. Some will perhaps future economy based on freedom of giving (giving), and will be based on debt repayments. The human species will always have a need for recording and memory.
