Summary/Abstract: Malignant diseases are a vital importance problem of modern society. This article analyzes the incidence of malignant neoplasms of the colon of the population in the region of Plovdiv 5-year period from 2009 to 2013 including. Tracked demographic status. Referred to is the number of registered and surgical patients. Tracked the numbers of surgical interventions on the occasion of colon cancer clinics and wards of general hospitals in Plovdiv. Analyzed is the average preoperative period and average stay of patients in hospital.
