Summary/Abstract: In 1911, with the advent of the newspaper The Romanian in Arad, Vasile Goldiş turned to support of Nicolae Iorga, which led to an interesting collaboration between the two leaders. The collaboration started in 1911, continued in the years that followed and led to the strengthening of ties between the Romanians in Arad, grouped around the newspaper Romanian, and Nicolae Iorga and his friends. Due to the involvement of Nicolae Iorga in politics reached it to assert more like a defender of the rights of Romanians in the monarchy, which contributed to an extent on the reorientation of the Romanian foreign policy and creating a favorable climate to achieve Greater Romania.
