Strategy of Szczecin development 2025

Summary/Abstract: The study presents Development Strategy of Szczecin to 2025 (SRS 2025). This document prepared as part of work on updating the previous strategy of Szczecin from 2002, is now the determinant of the direction of development for the next 15 years. Social and economic changes that took place in Szczecin in the first decade of the twentieth century and the adoption by the city of Szczecin a vision to the year 2050 as the city of floating gardens (Floating Garden 2050) have become the contribution to the update of the previous strategy, and consequently to the development of entirely new documents. Strategic objectives for 2025 years involve the creation of a metropolitan city, open and tolerant, attractive to live and work, which is a community of people distinguished by their economic activity and intellectual capital.
