Summary/Abstract: This article examines the issues of practical application of regulations related to usufructuary use of a land plot with respect to owners of buildings. Attention is paid to the registration of right of use, land payments, and the distinction between usufructuary use and unauthorized occupation of a land plot. Recommendations for the improvement of civil and land legislation are suggested.
